Cat flamingo pictures8/9/2023 ![]() ![]() A wonder scene to have been able to observe no doubt, let along capture exquisitely on camera. The contrasting colours against the dark surroundings really make this image pop. Not only is it a cats toy, but also a stylish decor. The caracal is soaked from chasing the flamingos through the waters, but has come out on top. The Flamingos shape paints a better picture when your kitty plays with this cat scratcher in your home. Will Nicholls, Founder of Nature TTL told us why this image stood out: “This is nature at its most raw. Browse 320+ baby flamingo stock photos and images available, or search for flamingo chick or baby dolphin to find more great stock photos and pictures. In this image you see the caracal walking off with its prize”. Within a minute of arrival, the caracal started stalking and eventually was successful (in dramatic fashion) at hunting one of the beautiful but unlucky birds. Upon arrival, we quickly realised that it was in fact a caracal and not a serval, and it was hunting flamingos that were feeding in the shallows. Ocean pearl jam unplugged8/9/2023 ![]() ![]() Erin from Tulsa, OkI love this song so much. Her dad named his new dog "Ocean" (singular) after this song as a kind of ironic thank-you gesture for saving her life. She recovered after a long stay at hospital, where they found a problem with her heart. All the while, this song was still playing on loop, which he used to encourage her to sing along to keep her awake. She stopped breathing like five times and he restarted her heart each time, before the ambulance finally arrived. He got her breathing just enough to allow him time to call an ambulance. He was a former medic so he easily went into action. He found her lying on floor next to her bed and she wasn't breathing. He went upstairs to tell her to switch to another song. In the end I questioned the lack of happy hour pricing and was told "oh that's not part of happy hour, sorry" and I paid $84 (with tip) for an extremely mediocre meal. The balsamic chicken was very very soggy, the white pizza was tasteless and the surrounding crust was about half of each piece of pizza (and slightly burnt) - the cheese pizza was OK but my son said it wasn't his favorite. We ordered three pizzas - a plain cheese for the kid, my hubby got a balsamic chicken with arugula on top and I got a "white" pizza with garlic and cheese. When I ordered the ww sangria the waitress didn't mention that it was NOT on happy hour, so my two ww sangrias came to $16 in the end (not worth it). I ordered the white wine sangria, which was very nice but apparently this is not considered a happy hour drink, although the red wine sangria WAS. It was about 6.30pm so Happy Hour was still on (3-7pm) for "scratch Cocktails, $2 off wines and draft beer". We were greeted nicely by the hostess and seated promptly. The weather was great so the patio was enjoyable. The interior and patio were fine, very nice restaurant buildout. We had been meaning to stop by for a while (we love love love the restaurant next door, Mi Dia) and got a chance tonight. Overall was really delicious and look forward to trying their other pies and starters and of course getting more of that bruschetta - super tasty!Įventually would be good to eat in as well, it's a franchise and they have a few locations around Dallas. We were excited to go to Fireside Pies as we love pizza and like to try new places. ![]() Honestly really enjoyed the bruschetta the most, cannot stop thinking about it. ![]() Ingredients are all fresh and good quality. Taste - Delicious! Didn't get that plastic cheese feel or heavy carb overload. Spice - 2/5 More on flavour rather than the spice. The brownie was good size, enough for two. You probably need 2 or more - there's def not going to be any leftovers here with one pie. Quantity - The pizza is quite small compared to what you normally get from pizza places. Warm Cocoa Brownie ($9.50) - Brownie with ice cream, salted caramel and hazelnut. Hot & Crumbled Pie ($15.50) - Tasty - spicy Italian sausage, ricotta, tomatoes and added mushrooms. Only wish there was more, will definitely do a bigger order of this next time. Piled high with tomatoes, mushrooms and pine nuts and flakes of goat. Ordered the Bruschetta, Hot and Crumbled Pie and Warm Cocoa Brownie.īruschetta ($13.50) - This was so delicious. Trying out all the pizza places on UberEats and here's my review for Fireside Pies. Pizza here is pricy, but like mentioned each one is two meals for anyone with a normal appetite. The salsa was unique to the point that it tasted more like a bruschetta topping, but it was very good. Well cooked, generous on the egg and chorizo and a very fresh avocado on top. As for brunch items, the Chorizo & Egg Quesadilla with Salsa was perfect. Adding jalapeno to combat the sweet of the pineapple was a wonderful idea. I disagreed and thought the combinations of flavors were outstanding. The person with the Hawaiian Pie gave it mixed reviews saying it had too much going on. Could only eat half so had the second half for dinner and the crust even stayed crisp for the rewarming. ![]() Its spicy flavor and smoked cheese made it far from an ordinary pizza. Among the pizzas it was the BBQ Chicken Pie that really stood out. Westergren’s idea was simple: Compile hundreds of thousands of songs into a gigantic database that can match those you love with structurally similar tracks, thereby creating the ultimate music-recommending device. Pandora’s goal is to introduce these people to new music based on what they already like, and while it’s too early to draw conclusions, the strong initial response to Pandora’s unique product suggests its effort, or something similar, could help transform a recording industry battered by illegal downloading, flagging CD sales, and listener ennui. As chief strategy officer of Pandora Media, a company he created to oversee the project, Westergren is attempting no less than an egalitarian revolution in music marketing - one he believes can reach a vast, neglected cadre of fans who love music but have aged out of the crate-digging demographic, or are uninspired by MTV. Some are genre-specific - hip-hop, for example, has no need of the jazz gene that counts improvised sax licks. In fact, the four genres, or “genomes,” these music analysts have scrutinized to date - jazz, hip-hop/electronic, rock/pop/country, and world music - contain a total of about four hundred genes. There are genes for handclaps, turntable scratches, and organ solos - times 235. “Lose Yourself” thus has a gene describing whether the bass is played ostinato or as a riff, and another for whether the kick drum sound is tight or booming. “It’s kind of like your building blocks - and we think of this as the same thing for music.” ![]() “Genes collectively make a person tall or short, black or white, fast or slow, with freckles or not,” Westergren says.
